I have been a Foundation Governor since January 1986, a Trustee as Churchwarden of Holy Trinity Church, Shenington until the new school was built and now has the Oxfordshire Diocesan Trust as Custodian Trustees.
I was Treasurer to the Board of Governors from September 1986 prior to and during the period when the school had Maintained status and throughout the building of the new premises.
Following a period in industry and lecturer in Statistical Methods I spent almost thirty years as a management consultant specialising in the use of mathematical methods to improve management and used computers in the early days of the development of IT.
For several years, when Mrs Shirley Hartlett was head-teacher, I taught small groups of pupils the rudiments of how to use a computer. But how things have changed in the last two decades.
I continue to help the school – principally contributing to the Finance, Premises and Personnel committee.
