I became a parent governor in January 2014 having been elected by ballot. I am mother to Madeleine (year 4) and Freya (year 1) and we live in Shenington. I have a BSc Honours in Modern Languages and I work part-time as a French language tutor. Prior to moving to Oxfordshire in 2014, I worked as a manager in NHS commissioning organisations for ten years where I developed, managed and implemented service improvements with my clinical colleagues. I was also a volunteer pre-school Chair and helped lead the implementation of the 2012 Early Years statutory requirements, actively contributing to the pre-school’s improved Ofsted grading. I am Chair of the Standards and Admissions Committee, lead governor for Safeguarding and member of the school’s Admissions Committee.
