Geography - Curriculum Intent

Geography at Shenington provides opportunities for our children to investigate and understand the world we live in. We use our local surroundings in the village of Shenington, Banbury and Oxfordshire to enable our children to experience practical opportunities in both human and physical geography. Our termly topics are designed to engage children to discover and question the natural and human aspects of life on our planet. The children explicitly learn key geographical knowledge, concepts and skills to apply to their learning. Children will learn about diverse places, people, resources and natural and human environments.
