Modern Foreign Languages - Curriculum Intent

Our chosen language for MFL is French. We provide a cross curricular programme of study which is developed from Foundation through to Key Stage 2. The curricular focusses on speaking and listening and an opportunity to learn about  and develop their knowledge of a new culture. The children are immersed in the curriculum which ensures they are engaged in each lesson and provides an opening to other cultures. The curriculum fosters curiosity and deepens the children's understanding of the world.
